ABOUT THE COMPOSERS

ENID LUFF MA MMus LRAM

Educated at Cambridge and the University

of Wales, Enid’s compositions are often inspired by her love of nature. Her music has been performed in European Countries and widely in the UK. Enid is interested in poetry and literature, has set texts in many languages, and has composed music for dance works. Her pieces appeal to amateurs and professionals alike.

Enid was featured as Composer of the Month in March 2005 by the Welsh Music Information Centre.

JULIA USHER MA PGCE RMTh(NR)

Greatly influenced by words and visual imagery, Julia was educated at Cambridge and York University. Her interests include cross-media works and music theatre and she especially enjoys writing for chamber and soloists. Julia is involved in community music projects in Essex such as COMA. Her professional role as music therapist has encouraged an interest in research on the brain.
